Em Março estive bastante ocupada.... Era o último mês antes da entrega da minha dissertação e havia muita coisa para afinar. E muito senti eu a falta do meu bloguito e dei várias vezes comigo a pensar nele...
In March I was very busy... It was the last month before I had to hand in my final paper and there were lots of things to tweek and re-write. And I missed my little bloggy and thought many times about it…
Outra das coisas em que eu pensava muito era em como queria dar uma arrumação geral na nossa enorme estante do escritório e que eu adoro, porque foi a primeira coisa que escolhemos e compramos, em conjunto, para decorar o nosso ninho :) A verdade é que as coisas até estão arrumadas, mas sem ordem nenhuma! E eu acho que, nestas coisas, os livros devem estar junto dos livros, os lápis junto de outros lápis e as caixas de ovoso, rolos de papel higiénico junto com os garrafões vazios e os jornais velhos (vá lá, não digam que vocês também não guardam estes tesouros)!
I also thought a lot about giving a thorough clean to our big shelving unit in the office, which I love, because it was the first thing that we bought, together, to start decorating our nest J The truth is that the things are all neatly placed on the shelves, but in no order what so ever! And I really think that books belong with books, pencils with pencils and empty egg cartons and toilet paper rolls with empty plastic bottles and old newspapers (come one, don’t tell me that you don’t save these treasures)!
Mas este post não é sobre a minha estante, mas sim sobre o Blog... Quando o criei , logo no primeiro post referi que o nome "Bola de Pensamento", vinha do faco de me surgirem tantas mas tantas ideias quando lia todos os blogs maravilhosos que por aí estão espalhados, de forma a que, se fosse uma personagem de Banda Desenhada, havia de ter por cima da minha cabela milhentas de bolas de pensamento a voar! E assim fui escrevendo sobre todos os assuntos que me surgiam na cabela e achava podiam ser úteis a quem "me" lesse. Mas a verdade é que ficava tudo aquém do que eu queria : não tinha fio condutor e retraía-me, muitas vezes, de escrever um post dedicado a isto ou aquilo, pois pensava que ia estar a negligenciar as outras temáticas ou que o post não fosse do interesse de quem aqui tinha vindo parar na esperança de encontrar textos sobre um tema específico :S
But this post isn’t about my shelving unit, it’s about my Blog… When I created it, right on the first post I mentioned the name “Thought Bubble” was related to the millions of ideas that came to mind as I was reading the many wonderful blogs out there. The ideas were so many that, if I was a comic book character, my head would be surrounded by thousands of thought bubbles! And therefore I started to write about what came to mind and that I thought could be useful to people who would read me. But the truth is it was never going as far as I wanted it too : I didn’t have a specific line of thought and I never went all the way, afraid that I might be focusing on only one theme or that my posts would end up being not interesting to readers that came here to read about one specific topic… :S
Por isso, depois de demorada refelxão, decidi aplicar a mesma ideia da estante ao meu cantinho virtual e criar várias prateleiras para arrumar cada um dos temas. Pois, decidi partir o Bola de Pensamento em 3!
So, after careful and long consideration, I decided to take the same idea about my shelving unit and apply it to my blog. Right, I decided to split Thought Bubble into 3!
Tudo o que esteja relacionado com trabalhos manuais e FTM (Faz Tu Mesmo - não uso o você porque sempre me disseram que é má-educação usar) fica reservado para o "Bola de Pensamento", como não podia deixar de ser : não deixo de ter um carinho especial por este espaço (não há blog como o primeiro) e por isso quero-lhe dedicar este meu hobby que tanto prazer me dá :)
Everything craft and DIY related will remain here, on Thought Bubble. I do have a special affection for this space (there’s no blog like the first one) and that is why I want to dedicate it to this hobby that gives me some much satisfaction :)
O recém-nascido Us and the Cats vai ser um blog de "erro e tentativa" em que vou agrupando as soluções e ideias a que vou chegando (ou talvez aqui o crédito não se deva restringir a mim) para que o dia-a-dia se torne mais fácil e mais... nosso.
The newly-born Us and the Cats will be a “try-and-error” blog, where I’ll post about the solutions and ideas I (but maybe I can’t really have all the credit for this) stumbled upon while trying to make our daily life easier and more… us.
Por fim, tudo o que está relacionado com receitas fica no “...no fim do dia”, uma vez que é nessa altura que eu passo mais tempo na cozinha.
Lastly, everything recipe related will be on “...at the end of the day”, becaus that is when I spend more time in the kitchen.
Não sei como vai correr, mas acho que é o que melhor se adequa a mim e à minha faceta blogueira. É claro que gostava que quem me segue e lê aqui e por quem em tenho tanto carinho, me seguisse e lesse nos outros dois, mas digo desde já que não fico chateada se deixarem de seguir este para se restringirem a um dos outros ou, se não tiverem interesse nenhum nas outras duas temáticas, se deixem ficar apenas neste. Só fico triste se me abandonarem de vez :P
I don’t know if it will work, but I think that it is what suits me and my blogging side the best. Of course, I would love for all of you, followers and readers, to join me ont my other two blogs, but I won’t be mad if you don’t join them or even if you leave this one and only read one of the others. It would only make me sad if you stopped reading all together :P
